Speaking Engagement on September 25 | Company News
It’s been a while (ok…it’s been a year) since I’ve had the opportunity to talk about what we do at Tiffany Stacey Photography and Video. However, when I have the opportunity, it’s a very exciting time to talk about how I help clients brand and market themselves through video and photography.
It’s very important that businesses think about how they come across to their target market. Unfortunately, marketing tends to be an afterthought for most business owners. It goes well beyond just business cards and having a great logo!
Marketing is just about anything that involves communicating what you do to the consumer.
Anyway, I’m excited about being a contestant talking about my video production and photography business at the upcoming Meet the Coaches night on September 25 in Worthington, Ohio! I'll be one of the 5 businesses pitching for 5 minutes to 5 judges. The winner will win $10,000 in business services to help grow their business! Looking forward to mingling and connecting with business professionals in the area! Friends are welcomed to come cheer me on & network! 😀
See you all soon!
My New Intern | Company News
One of my biggest pain points with having a business is that I’m a one-woman show. I’ve said consistently over the last year that I need help on my shoots and any additional things that come up as a business owner. Well, I’m happy to say that I hired an intern/assistant for my growing business.
Meet Joseph Cooke!
He is a recent graduate from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism from Ohio University. He is currently continuing his education in the video production program at Columbus State. Joe and I share similar backgrounds. I went to school for broadcast journalism at Temple University. So, I’m ecstatic that we share similar mindsets and experiences.
I'm pleased to have him part of my growing team. Joe has already demonstrated that he is flexible, personable, willing to share new ideas and has an excellent sense of humor! I'm looking forward to working with Joe and helping him along in his career. Feel free to say ‘Hello’ to Joe if you see him around town!
Joe says Hello!
Caribbean Festival 2018 | Event Photography
Summer isn’t over yet. With temperatures in the high 80’s, I attended the 2nd annual Caribbean Festival in downtown Columbus.
Summer isn’t over yet! With temperatures in the high 80’s, I attended the 2nd annual Caribbean Festival in downtown Columbus. Women were donned in their Carnival-inspired costumes as they danced and entertained the watching crowd. The event was complete with delicious smelling Caribbean food, music and various vendors selling African cultural pieces and clothing. The festival will conclude Sunday night (September 16).

Bridal Show at The Vue!
If you're not familiar with The Vue, it's a beautiful and eclectic event space in Downtown Columbus. Perfect for an event or wedding venue! WedLocal, hosted their very first wedding expo at the venue.
Hope you all are hanging in there this winter! Spring is almost upon us! I can see the light! :-)
Since my last bridal show, it's been a whirlwind of a month. I suffered a bout (as many others did) with the infamous flu earlier this month and had a few unforeseen circumstances pop up. I guess such is life!
March is only two days away, but I wanted to share with you my latest bridal show experience at The Vue (95 Liberty Street) this past Sunday!

What made this show a bit different from the one I did in January was it was much smaller, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. This allowed me to interact more with brides. I also had the opportunity to chat with the other wedding professionals and get to know more about their business. I really enjoyed having more intimate conversations with the brides and neighboring vendors without feeling rushed. This is very important because being in front of the camera is already an intimidating experience and making potential clients feel comfortable about working with me is always my GOAL!
Until next time...
My First Bridal Show!
I share my experience of my first bridal show at Hilton Polaris in Columbus, Ohio.
Wow, what an incredible weekend! This past Sunday, I participated in my very first bridal show!
You wouldn't believe the amount of preparation it takes to get things organized and ready to go for a bridal show (literally months!). It was a lot of work, but definitely extremely fun to plan! I LOVE TO PLAN & ORGANIZE THINGS!
DO I LOOK EXCITED?!
What's even more rewarding was having the opportunity to interact with new potential wedding clients! They shared with me stories of their engagement and how surprised (or not so surprised they were) when their special someone popped the BIG QUESTION!
The venue itself was pretty packed not only with brides, but with plenty of vendors to choose! Samples seemed to be in abundance because I saw many walking past me with mimosas, bottles of beer and some of that tasty City Barbecue. Unfortunately, I could not eat nor did I have any desire. Not trying to get food in my teeth. I will spare my potential clients the opportunity!
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and look forward to other wedding shows in the future. See you soon!
It's a little early, but I'm all set up and ready to go!
